Meridith C. Grundei founded Red Ball Speaks in 2010 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the performing arts and 15 years of experience in individual and team coaching. Her combined skills as a coach and performer give her a unique, fun and innovative approach to professional development. Meridith was an instructor for the acclaimed The Second City in Chicago, IL where she was associate faculty for The Second City Training Center. Her work at The Second City inspired Meridith to branch out on her own to teach others how improvisation can improve life, team morale and overall communication.

Meridith is a dynamic coach who works closely with business professionals and C level executives in financing, technology, engineering, manufacturing and advertising. Her specialties are in presentation and public speaking consultation and creative team collaboration combining business acumen with improvisation. 

She is an award winning actor who has directed and performed in numerous productions throughout the United States. She holds a Masters Degree in Contemporary Performance from Naropa University, a Buddhist inspired university in Boulder, CO where she served as Adjunct Faculty in the undergraduate program and as Guest Artist in the Masters Program where she facilitated workshops in text development for their stage adaptation of Siddhartha. She has been a Guest Artist at the CounterPulse in San Francisco, CA where she worked with war veterans and performers using improvisation as a tool to generate story for an original performance piece entitled CONTACT. Most recently she was a Guest Artist for the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY where she taught improvisational theatre.

Meridith presently resides near Boulder, CO with her husband, daughter, dog, cat and chicken.
